Pasta with Mushroom and White Sauce.

One word: Yummmmmmmmmmmmm!

it was supposed to be a seafood pasta. I boiled the seafood frozen pack separately only to find its bitter. changed plans and added mushrooms instead. didn’t find fresh mushrooms around so I used canned. I prefer fresh mushrooms but you gotta work with what you have :)

Recipe:

  1. Pasta
  2. Mushrooms as needed.
  3. 2 Garlic cloves
  4. Crushed chili
  5. 1.5 pack of cream
  6. 1.5 tsp Cilantro
  7. salt
  8. black pepper
  9. paprika
  10. about 3 TBS olive oil
  11. 1 tbs butter
  12. half a maggie cube
  13. few drops of wocestershire sauce
  14. Onion
  15. Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. in a hot skillet: saute onions, garlic, chili and maggie cube with olive oil and butter.
  2. add the mushrooms and keep mixing.
  3. the spices and worcestershire sauce and let it simmer for a bit
  4. stir in the cilantro. once all flavors are combined together, add couple of table spoons of pasta water to the mixture.. stirr and drop the cream and let it simmer.
  5. in the same skillet, drop the pasta and mix it with the sauce and add the parmesan cheese.

and you’re done

Nice combination but I prefer to remove the Maggie Cubes and instead use dried mushrooms, you need to soak it in warm water for 20 min then remove and push all excess water and use the mushrooms during sauté stage and also use the water of mushrooms with the cream as it give nice mushroomy flavor ^.^
