My dad gave me a humungous horseradish at 4 pm today and told me to think of ways to cook it for dinner and i made the following:

  1. half a pack of pasta (whatever pasta u want and the smaller the better
  2. white onions
  3. 1 crushed garlic clove
  4. 3 shredded carrots
  5. 1 big shredded horseradish
  6. salt and pepper
  7. fresh and dry cilantro
  8. 1 TBS oyster sauce
  9. 1 maggie cube or a spice blend of your choice
  10. crushed habanero with vinegar. if you can’t handle the heat, use regular hot sauce
  11. shredded chicken (cooked)
  12. olive oil
  13. half a pack of 250 ml cream

  1. Start with sautéing the onions with the olive oil until they’re cooked. Add the spices, fresh cilantro and garlic and keep mixing. Add the maggie cube if you want
  2. If you feel that it’s going to burn, splash some water. Add the carrots and horseradish and keep mixing until they’ve softened up
  3. Toss in the cream, oyster sauce and shredded chicken and keep mixing
  4. Add the cooked pasta and keep mixing until all the flavors are blended in then add the habanero vinegar mix or hot sauce.
  5. Transfer the mixture in a baking dish, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and bake it in the oven until the cheese melts

That’s it! The dish was a success and suitable for winter. I had it with a squeeze of lemon and it was warm and silky, just like how all winter dishes should feel like :)

Bon appetit!
